Says John Gollings  “3D is really a way of getting closer to a holographic and virtual experience and making it seriously exciting to view. ‘NOW and WHEN’ is approachable on a lot of different levels so there is something for the person who is interested in any number of factors: architecture, photography, architectural rendering, the development of stereoscopic technology, theories of urbanism or futurism. I wanted to make sure that ‘NOW and WHEN’ is controversial and contentious, but also engaging and entertaining.”

‘Now and  When - Australian Urbanism ’ was the undoubted hit of the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale.  Housed in the Australian Pavilion at the Biennale, the show attracted an audience of over 93,000 visitors during the festival, and garnered rave reviews from media and visitors alike.

The groundbreaking exhibition, with  large  3D projection screens, features amazing imagery by Master Australian architecture photographer John Gollings, who in conjunction with Ivan Rijavec was creative co-director of  the show.
