ABC Ballarat's ‘looking at my world’ schools photo project as part of BIFB’09
Exciting news! ABC Ballarat are sponsoring the School Project.
This means that every photograph made as part of the BIFB ABC School Project can be uploaded onto a special website.
Not only will 350 selected photographs be printed and displayed in Myer’s windows in Ballarat for the month of the Festival but also every photograph that is taken will have an audience through the ABC Contribute website.
Can a Year Level or class at your school afford to miss this wonderful opportunity to be part of an International Ballarat Festival and a significant community event?
Your School/Year Level or class will take digital images within the theme ‘Looking at my World’ before the end of Term 2. more......
BIFB’09 offers midweek supervised tours during the Biennale tailored to schools that have photography as part of their curriculum. Tours are of approximately 90 minutes duration, and may include artist or curator floor talks at a range of Core Exhibition Venues. For groups staying in Ballarat overnight we can arrange photographic linked activities. Programs can be tailored to suit any year level from primary to VCE.
Teachers need to book in early as we can only accommodate around 6 groups per week. Tours will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
